I recently watched this video or short film in my Yearbook class. It’s about technology and people today. I have to say that, even though I haven’t finished watching it yet, it really opened my eyes to technology and how it affects us.

In the film it said that there was a reported death caused by someone just sitting in front of a computer for an extended period of time playing video games with very little food or water. They even have rehab facilities for this in South Korea. Rehab facilities, really? How far will it go till people realize how ridiculous it is to be addicted to something so unreal. Yes I use the word addicted because it is an addiction to the point of seriousness, it has gone as far as causing death. People these days have become so distant from the real world that it has become a problem. What I don’t understand is why people don’t turn to books for entertainment. There’s nothing better than opening a book and getting lost in a world that only the author knows the meaning behind. It’s beautiful. It really is, so why don’t people choose that over technology? Does it not deliver as much enterntainment as technology? But then how could entering a different world not be entertaining? What makes technology so addictive? I wonder, when did we start to think that literature was a waste of time but checking your facebook, myspace or twitter was worth it? When did we start to think that meeting people online and having a conversation online was better than the real thing? I find it a little sad, the way that we don’t find an interest in the beautiful things like books. What have we become?

Not a lot but just enough.

What is it about snow that makes people happy? Is it how it floats down, how innocent it looks, the cold yet warm feeling we get. Why does snow change everything and makes it seem as if everything is good?

All I know is that walking through the falling snow is what love feels like(: Light and fluttery. I love the cold weather. ^^ How does snow make you feel? Aside from making you feel cold. hahaha It makes me feel like becoming an Artist/Photographer(: Creative and free. That's what it is. I just love it, the weather, the scenery, everything sort of covered in a light blanket keeping us warm despite the temperature.

So I have to read a book

for English and being a smart person I checked out the biggest book instead of the smaller one. x] Oh well hopefully it’s a good book. The book is called Catch-22 if anyone has read it before please tell me if it’s a good book or not that would be really awesome of you and I will love you forever and ever x D. Till the end of time. x] Hahaha I should start reading =P I still have a lot of other homework! Oh well time gives those who appreciate it the leisure to do things at their own pace. (: Anyways I should get started so that’s all for today! x]

32 years more than my real age x] The Nintendo DS is so cool! Actually all Nintendo products are cool! I still have my Nintendo 64 x] Still awesome even though I only have , I think, 4 games for it. (: The controllers are really cool in my opinion. All though I really love PlayStation products more x] Prince of Persia is awesome! and So are the Resident Evil games! hahaha. I really love video games dude! They are freaking amazing! Seriously. (: I’m happy today hahaha. Life is good :]. Anyways another cool game for the DS is Professor Layton games. They are very cool. x]

Ahh weekends so fast they go.

I cant help but notice every time the weekend comes it feels like I say goodbye to it so fast. As if 2 days is nothing. Oh well. Just this year and next year and I’ll be in college studying things that I want to study. (: To summarize my weekend in one word I would have to say it was relaxing. I had time to think a lot this weekend and I came to many conclusions! I feel accomplished. =D And as always I finish my hw on the day before school x]. DO NOT DO THE THINGS I DO. x] Finish your hw/work when you get it. That way you have less to worry about and more leisure time to relax or do other stuff. Hahaha. I just love cloudy days. They make me feel so gay. (:hahaha I am such a dreamer. I love dreams don’t you? I day dream a lot too. xD It’s a habit I guess. I have so many dreams that sometimes I get lost in them. Especially on cloudy/rainy days (: I love nature! hahaha. Oh man If I ever wrote a book about my dreams it would be so random/crazy. I have so many weird happy dreams. I love dreaming! :3

So it’s been raining quite a bit where I live which is good cos well we need it. Also it makes everything feel calm and quite. I think when it rains you get to see a different side to the world. It relaxes you and helps you feel better. At least that’s what it does to me. Every time it rains it makes me want to go to sleep or just sit there listening/watching the rain fall. It’s as if the world is opening up to you. I’ve heard before that every time it rains a nice person has passed away. Hmmm. Rain also makes me think a lot and it helps me sort out my thoughts. It’s like magic (: When it rains everyone should take some time and enjoy it and dance in the rain cos it’s not like it will hurt you. right? hahaha Live in the moment no matter what weather it is. (:

So lately I have been going through a lot and I keep thinking to myself , “Why do I put up with this?” You know? I always tell myself, “don’t let things get to you” and that’s the first thing I do. Seriously. I’ve been noticing lately that I’ve started to let people push me around and tell me what to do. But the funny thing is that I don’t do anything about it. I see all this happening yet I do nothing. Why? I don’t really know to be honest. I just know that this week is pretty much the same as my summer. Annoying/Confusing/Sad.

And then I start to realize that I am wasting my time on thinking about everything I have ever thought about. And it keeps going on and on and on till I don’t even know what to think about or decide on. An endless cycle of nothing. And like people say History repeats itself in my life. I tend to relive things over and over again, which gets frustrating. And every time it does I do the same things over and over again. I fall for the same things/people, and their fake promises. I have honestly let myself down.

Well that’s enough with that. I need some advice please.

Ok so here’s the deal. There’s this guy, we’ve been best-friends for 7 years now, and we both are in love with each other, or rather have been for 7 years. The thing is though he wants a serious relationship, but I’m not ready for one, and I’m afraid I might lose him if I don’t go with him now. So what should I do?

The Time Traveler’s Wife & Inglourious Basterds

Ok so first off even though I put The Time Traveler’s Wife first in the title I have to say that Inglourious Basterds is the most fucking (excuse my french) awesome movie ever!!! It is so hilarious and action packed at the same time!!! Ok maybe not that much action but enough violence to satisfy my needs xD Anyways, this movie is a total must see!!! So worth the money! Seriously dude the movie is good throughout the whole movie there is never a dull moment! And the ending is fucking awesome!!!! Again excuse my choice of words. But seriously I love it so much!! At first I thought it wasn’t going to be that good of a movie but I was so wrong. So go now and watch it!! You will not regret it!

Hahaha ok now onto The Time Traveler’s Wife. Ok so at first I thought this movie was just going to be another chick flick, yes even though i’m a girl they usually are kind of the same which is boring. But it turned out to be really interesting because it had different elements to it not just some over acted romance couple. No their relationship went much deeper than that so it made it that much more emotional/interesting. Anyways don’t want to get into much detail for those of you out there who want to watch this movie. And those of you who don’t should think again because it is not a waste of time nor is it, like I said earlier, any other chick flick.

Watch it! lol

I have a new found interest in classical music

Which is kind of weird cos I’m usually into Punk type music. But seriously though Classical music is pretty awesome when you think about it cos they don’t sing so they have to make it even more interesting cos it’s not like classical music can get lyrics stuck in your head or a rhythm stuck in your head. At least that’s what I think.

=] Everyone should try listening to it cos it is interesting and it tells a story without lyrics. Try it, it wont hurt lol.

Finally its Friday!! woot! xD Hahaha no school isn’t that bad. It’s kinda interesting. Key word Kinda hahaha. I can’t wait till I graduate!!! And I can’t wait till I become a neurologist!!! YES! xD

Dude who out there is going green? Seriously I’m tired of hearing people say “Global warming is a hoax” blah blah blah! Can’t you see how much has changed? Temperatures in Austin, Texas this summer hit a record high every day! Every day! how can you not believe in global warming! We need to do something about this guys. Seriously. If at all possible ride a bike to places. Take the bus. Use every inch of paper that you have. Recycle. Use reusable bottles for water and other drinks. <DO SOMETHING> Don’t just sit around waiting for everyone else to do everything for you. You’re your own person. Other people can’t do anything for you. You have to own up to what’s happening and try to prevent it from getting worse. No, do more than try. Do it. It’s not hard. It’s not like people are asking to walk on hot coals. Make a difference. and Change the world.

Also not related to going green but very important. Speak up for those who don’t have a voice. Yes I’m talking about abortion. Help ban abortion. It does kill a living human no matter what people may say. A human is living once it starts from the very beginning of pregnancy. Raise awareness.
